ABOUT THE OWNER
When TAOU GURCH was a young boy, he
envisioned making his father's business well-
known throughout Morocco and the world. Even
as a teenager, he would visit their small factory
to observe the artisans at work. He was
astounded by the process of making the lights,
from intricate designs to gorgeous spin-offs.
Motivated by his passion for supporting local
artisans, he learned everything about the
business and worked with different people in
various regions of Morocco.
TAOU GURCH envisions the business becoming
well-known worldwide within a few years,
introducing Moroccan LAMP to the international
market. As a passionate young entrepreneur, he
aims not just to make a name for his business
but also to improve the living conditions of his
local craftspeople by providing them with a
means of support and income.
